I think my strawbs are finished now. What do I next ? They are in planters in a mini-greenhouse plastic thing that needs to be put away over winter. Do I cut the strawberries down ? Can I shove them in the shed ? Haven't a clue what to do !

Strawberries will survive the winter , but they will be sending out runners soon for new plants, if you dont need anymore cut them off ,a plant is good for 3 years, if you want more, pin the runners where the growth is onto the top of a pot of compost, and leave them till they have made roots and then cut them from the parent.
After that put them in their planters up a corner to give them some protection and leave them till spring :gnthb:

Yep.. don't put them in the shed!... just leave them in their pots, cut off any old leaves, just carefully tidy them up, pot up as many new plants from the runners as you want.

Don't let them dry out too much.. or sit in a puddle.

Ive read that all leaves should be cut after plant has fruited,i,m trying that this year Farmers used to set fire to the straw after fruiting which probably bears this out. The plants like ablast of cold winter air so leave them out over winter but dont let them get waterlogged or dry out hope this helps.
