"Its for kids Kristen [IMG] you know Little people"

No body tells me anything :(

I thought the already-bought seating was for the kids, and assumed the extra would be for some Big-People Adults :)

Well done Steve:thmb:...Nice tidy job there mate!.....Great to see the little ones making full use of the garden.
Why not widen your flower borders a little and sow your veg in them...Runner beans along the fence for example:)
Ever thought of doing a bit of gardening as an earner:wink:
    Good Luck.

just to clear things up a bit

the table and chairs in the link are the ones for me and the wife , the decking area is not that big so that will be fine plus we have a large table for when we have a bbq and friends round

i am weeding out the plastic furniture as i think its horrid and not that stable for the kids so we brought a wooden picnic style bench for the girls

looks a bit like the pic above

i have one more decking board to place and the decking is finished

but my 4 y/o is off to a party and i can't work with my 2 y/o running around passing me bits of wood and screws every 2 mins :hehe:

will have to wait till the wife gets back so till then i will have a nose around for some plants for my raised border

had a busy day at garden centres

went to our local one in clacton and got 2 plants

    Jasminum & Pieris

then went for a drive to the beth Chatto gardens http://www.bethchatto.co.uk/

amazing place but did not have time to look round the gardens

but we did have a look round the garden centre part and got

    Lysimachia ciliata

    Oenothera glabra

and the wife wanted a grass so we got this

Stipa .. but not sure what type as the label system was a bit mixed up and the lady at the check out did not know

got everything in the border part from the grass as we may plant it in a pot

off to b&q for more stones tomorow then just a few finishing touches and i will be set

just got to wait for the furniture to arrive and see how that looks on the decking

Looking really good Steve and lucky children with their play area would it be worth getting some of those rubber tile things to cover the concrete and make it a bit more safer bit like these:

    http://www.softfloorkids.co.uk/

Love the stones and the planting in the back border

Looking great there Steve, all your effort is really paying off!!! BTW you can push the pebbles right up to the base of your plants. It wont restrict their growth as they just nudge them aside as they grow. It will also keep mud from splashing up on them when you water them or it rains.
