Personal messages

In this forum please when someone kindly posts they LIKE a posting of mine is there a way as in other forums where you can send them a personal message only they can see. Is it called a CONVERSATION?

Yes a PM (private message) in called a conversation.

If you hover the mouse pointer over the 'Inbox' link, a pop down list will appear. At the bottom of that is a link that says 'Start a new conversation'.

Or, clicking the inbox link will take you to a new page, with a big button at the top right saying 'Start a new conversation'.

Either way, that brings up a page allowing you to start a private conversation with someone.

 

You can also start a conversation by clicking on someones avatar

 

I knew there was a third way, but I'd forgotten it. Thanks for that. It will save a few keystrokes if the person you want to speak to has a post in a thread you're already looking at.
