I bought two of these at least three years ago from B&Q and have long since forgotten their name. Originally bought because they were both on offer-£1 each and looked like death warmed up, but as they had strong thick main stems I reckoned they would be okay with a bit of care so I took them home and brought them back into something that looks like a strong, and importantly, disease resistant rose. Incidentally they have been moved and moved time and again with no discernable problems-they are very robust roses.

They are very strongly and sweetly scented of lemons, I have tried to count the petals but for fear of damaging each flower with my clumsy hands I have left them. They have pink outer petals, peachy toward the centre and yellow right at the base of the centre petals, and repeat flower throughout the whole of summer. They are thorned but the thorns are very small-perhaps the longest is 5mm in length.

    Any ideas as to names?

Hi Lolli. I bought a few bushes at B&Q the other day. The buds are just opening. The piccie on the label looks like yours either pink dreamer or orange dreamer just described as a ashrub rose. They should be open in a few days so I'll get back to you if Woo hasn't sorted it before then:)

Hi Lolli. Sorry I am late. As you can see the rose bears no resemblance whatsoever to yours or the label:hehe:

Something very similar happened with a yellow climber I got from Wilkos, it is a very red shade of yellow lol, and judging from it's growth habit, it is a stretch to call it a climber also.

I have had a look round-and at the ones named here, it isn't any of them-it won't be much of anything this year if these winds and rains don't stop for a while-completely trashing them all.

Whatever yours isn't, it is a lovely rose. But this mis-labelling of plants-it isn't on.

    Thank you Woo:)

Lolli it is very annoying as the other one is red and it was supposed to be pink. I hate red roses as they remind me of death. I adore pink and apricot colours.

Struggling to locate a good picture of the rose you mentioned Woo.

I don't mind the colour so much as the desire for a yellow climber being thwarted. It is a nice enough rose, but still.....................I don't actually dislike any colour rose, the only thing I ask is that they be scented. Oh well, it'll give me an excuse to go to the GC tomorrow I suppose-life is terrible lol.

Hi Ryleysgranny The nearest I can get to it is "Crazy for you" Taking into account that all photos can look different and the roses can change by age, anyway what do you think:)
