:thmb: Wow... Now that is what I call dedication, organisation, enjoyment & a big reward at the end of it..! :yho: Well I take my hat off to the pair of them, that has to be the tidiest most productive little plot I have seen in a long time Steve.... :thmb: He is certainly an inspiration for many... :) Not sure about the white collar & cuffs though, or is that what we should now call the White Collar Gardeners Garden..? :hehe:
:) Seriously though he certainly shows us all what can be done..

Bob follows this guys progress on another forum and it is without doubt a stunning plot and one to be proud of but I have to draw your attention to just how much it would cost to do the same thing.

As you will see all his path areas are slabbed and most of his raised beds are made from decking boards which in itself will cost a pretty penny indeed, you could get them off Freecycle but it would take an aged for them to come up and then there's the case of if you're lucky enough to be offered them.Hel.xxx.

I like his 5 compost bins. Turn A into B, then B into C, etc. fair enough. But he has sensibly made each next-stage smaller, to reflect the reduction in bulk. Good idea I reckon!

Except that they look PRISTINE and UNUSED !!!

His Courgettes look the Picture of Health ... unlike my Manky plants :( I wonder if I should make a plastic-sheet frame, like he has, to give them a flying start. His frames look awfully flimsy (would they survive a strong wind?) but I reckon they would provide shelter to speed them in the early part of the season. Maybe some lay-flat-tube would be enough, a 3' high bit held around the plant with 3 or 4 canes, and with an open top?
