Can't quite believe it, but after 3 consecutive interviews, the last one lasting over two hours, I have been offered a full time job, working for what i hope will be a good boss and a better salary than I have ever had before:yho::yho::yho:

The champagne is already open here and i have to think about it overnight, but I am 99% sure the answer tomorrow will be a yes. After temping for nearly a year, on part time wages, it'll be great to have some money to spend. I feel a garden make over coming on (and that raised bed getting built over winter:thumb:).

    Brilliant news Sussexgardener.
It's tough in the job market now so well done you. I hope you will enjoy the job.
I'm glad to be retired and not have any of that to worry about but I feel so sorry for people who are finding it tough to find jobs - or good jobs. There are plenty of very well qualified people out there who have to jump through hoops to get jobs that pay a pittance. I'm sure you've seen it all.
    Well done and enjoy.

Congratulations Aaron. I presume that the job is in the UK or did you decide you were going to go overseas?

Should have said, yes job is in the UK, about 20 miles from here. Thank you all - I am still in a state of shock and slightly drunk from the champagne!

    Congratulations:gnthb:

Only if you're busy getting drunk on the champagne, make sure your old boss's number isn't in your mobile, or if it is ask a grown up to look after it until you're sober:hehe:
