Sadly Woo, what used to be a two hour job is often a day's work nowadays. I suppose its the price we have to pay for having more powerful and ever more efficient cars.

Did you see that pillock cyclist in London on tv t'other day , decked out with cameras all over so he had 360 degree filming , Spent more time shouting at other drivers instead of watching where he was going . I think he called himself droid or something silly like that . He even carried yellow cards to show to drivers ,
And I do cycle at times but only when forced :stirpot:

I am furious with our horse. He is retired having been a competition horse (photo of him a couple of years ago) . He's now fat and happy doing nothing but eat and supply good stuff for my garden. There is a small patch (gorgeous) of Marsh Orchid in the horse's field. Haven't seen any Orchids anywhere else nearby so think the Orchid seed must have been imported when we had 100s of tonnes of Silica sand imported here for a sand arena. I am loathed to move them as they're growing in the Silica sand and not sure it would be ok in my garden. Yesterday I noticed the little patch flowering and thought I'd take a photo. In the 3 or 4 minutes it took me to get my camera the big fat smelly thing had munched every little flower, sure I detected he had a grin on his face. I'm going to rig up protection next year, little bug...! 10735_100940066596177_6425361_n.jpg

I am utterly p....d off with Yodel. They were supposed to deliver a parcel on Saturday, so they brought it Friday when of course we were out. They left a card saying it would be delivered another time. They then claimed to have tried again and left a card. There was no card and we have not left the house since Friday. So they were supposed to deliver today, Did it arrive? Did it heck. So another day sat in waiting for them to bother.

Hope you get your parcel! They messed up a delivery for me before Christmas. I'll never order from a company now if I know they'll use Yodel.

Fortunately no, it was nothing urgent, at least until we get some rain.

Parked up in the local supermarket - getting in the weekly shop. Return to the car to find that someone has damaged the back and driven off :thud:. Cracked bumper, number plate and rear light hanging out. On the plus side - had my first harvest of spuds today. :dbgrtmb:
