He's a very interesting character, he's not my favourite but he's very deep.

Dammit, can't you all read the books so I can say stuff?!!

 

I suggest book readers discuss stuff about characters and plots that hv already been shown on tv.. this way tv serial watchers vl also get to know the stuff tht has been omitted by the show..

Poor Tyrion, with a father like Lord Tywin he's bound to have a few little neuroses hanging around. Not surprised he seems to have a sex addiction problem.

 

And could carry a suit of chainmail!

I think I was imagining more of a butch Donald Sutherland. (Crumbs, that dates me!)

Never rated Sean Bean after he did that dreadful Lady Chatterley's Lover.

 

Or a Viggo Mortensen. Although I wouldn't want his character killing off

 

I am a huge fan too.

Am up to date with the tv series.
And have read all the books too.
A Song of Fire & Ice has been some of the best books I have read

I believe the next book is out later this year - The Winds of Winter
Can't wait!
And then there is another book planned after this one.

Viggo was brilliant as Aragorn (drool) but not gritty and Northern enough for Eddard, IMO.

It was the first literary shock of the series when he lost his head, it's just a no-no to kill off the goodies - unless you are George RR Martin! Very effective to break the rules as you can't relax, safe in the knowledge that the good guys are always going to win.

I wonder if the back story of how he came to confess to treason will be flash-backed later on? No. don't tell me!

 

There'll be a lot of surprises to come I think
