Which potting mix for fern?

    Good morning all.
    I'm digging up my royal fern in the garden ready for moving.
    However I'm not sure what mix to of soil for pot.
    I have heard they like acidic soil?
    Do I use a mix of ericaceous soil, homemade compost and rotted manure?
    Any help would be great thanks.

    Should be fine Nat but try to use leaf mould in place of manure if you can
