That really is a lovely orange and I like the Madame Alfred Carriere too, where do you grow yours? As in against/through what?

 

I like the yellow rose Armandii, is it a climber please?

 

I should have known! I weighed up between buying 'Kings Ransom' and the one I now have below 'Lincolnshire Yellow Belly'.....I wish now I'd stuck with 'Kings Ransom' it's beautiful and a deeper yellow.

What are these dwarf Buddleia's good for?


I planted three, in a clump, last year and they looked like the photo. Neat and tidy, small, a bit bizarre (after all, one is used to the things reaching for the sky of course ...). But I think it fulfilled a role at the front ... this year they are waist high and still growing. I'll take a photo later on.

But it still begs the question in my mind. The marketing people persuaded me to buy some, as I was curious (and I expect they were giving them away with some promotion or other ... I can't imagine I would have paid full-money for a curiosity) ... but each time I walk past it I still ask myself What am I going to do with those?. Is it just me?
