      Morning early people :)

Cloudy & cooler here today. Bowser is nearly empty. Fixed the guttering last night so it can refill when we get the Glastonbury rains at the weekend :)

        Aloha everyone,

Zigs, those Glastonbury rains occur at the same time every year, don't they? It seems that the rains are so popular that thousands of people come down there to celebrate them and dance and sing in the rain! :heehee:

It was hot and sticky yesterday and looks as though it may be the same today.

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

Sounding a bit like a stuck record here - lovely sunny morning again . Not complaining though.

Woo, good news about eucalyptus :blue thumb:. Sorry about beans

We've now lost about 40 bean plants to rabbits/pigeons/slugs/snails but have more started in trays in the greenhouse. I never sow directly into the ground because of them being eaten. I put them out when they're 12" high. They catch up fairly quickly and usually continue producing later than the others - unless there's an early frost.

              Morning all,

A lovely sunny start here in Berkshire. Not looking good for the weekend though - But the garden will welcome a good dousing. We had a good drop of rain Monday night and everything looked lovely and fresh.:spinning:

I am on caterpillar watch at the moment - they are enjoying my greens, well hopefully I have got rid of this batch.

I am surprised at the amount of leather-jacket grubs I have been finding in the soil, I hate these, especially when they start coming into the house.:thud:

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning everyone, still struggling with the withdrawal symptoms but gradually getting there. Got to go to the diabetic retinal eye clinic this morning not sure whether I should or postpone it. I was wondering whether it would throw up incorrect readings in the situation I am in at present. I expect I shall go and warn them that is what I am experiencing at the moment.

Hope everyone is on top of things this morning, have a good day all and God bless.:wub2: 236724.gif

Woo..Pleased to see the Eucalyptus coming back:dbgrtmb:

Lili...Shall I bring the 'girls' round...they make short work of the leather jackets:chicken:...It's when they hatch I don't like, but I'm trying to convince myself they're Fairies Horses' to make them more appealing :rolleyespink:

Blimey what a down pour we had here yesterday:hate-shocked:....all the water butts are nice and full again though:dbgrtmb: It was the 'flattening' type of rain so it's made the decision for me to give the Geraniums the Loli chop...
It's a lot cooler here today but the sun is still trying to shine:blue thumb:

                    Afternoon all :)

Been quite a pleasant day here, although it is dulling slightly now; this could well work in my favour however, as its feeding time tonight, so I can get cracking a wee bit earlier if the sun isn't as full on :blue thumb:

@Lolimac - pain has pretty much gone now with the exception of a few patches that were really badly burnt, and I haven't started peeling yet, probably thanks to Mrs C regularly assaulting me with the aftersun

I might try and get some of my baskets moved out to the front today too, although they still aren't up to what I would call 'on show' standard. Ho hum.
