Hope you are really happy in your new home!
I appreciate you are naffed off over the job, but hey something better will come up it always does! I'm a firm believer in that if its meant to be it happens - if its not it doesn't- simplifies life and takes out the angst!

CongratUlations on your new keys!!! :hapfeet: Tuesday Key Day it is then

You must feel so excited (and relieved! It's been a long wait).

Hmm, there's a reason that job wasn't right for you, right now in time. I'm a firm believer in all things happening for a reason - even if it isn't clear at the time. Does this free up more time for you to get on with the actual move without being "rushed" by new house/new job syndrome, perhaps? :noidea:

          Good luck :yay:

The job thing makes no difference really. I'm on a two year contract now and could've made permanent. But lost out to a guy twice my age who is apparently an interview pro. I'm slightly relieved as I now know I'm not gonna stay here for the foreseeable future.

Get the keys today! Couldn't sleep last night. :):):)

If that means mainly possessing 'interview skills', but not 'job skills', I'm sure we've all seen quite a few of those, who succeed over internal candidates, can't do the job as well as them, managers/interviewers go into denial, and everyone is relieved when they move on. Hacked off staff leave and go to where they're appreciated and things go downhill.

Yep, spot on. The managers here also like to hire people through agencies that have come from much better jobs so it's just a stepping stone for them. Complete idiots. I worked up to this job and need it more than the other guy does but it comes down to who can interview better. I get very nervous so struggle, pretty annoying but can't win everything I guess.

may I suggest you make the bed up first as tiredness will suddenly overcome you - what with a restless night last night,
