Just found this rose in my mums garden and its tucked behind loads of shrubs at the back of a border so you cant see it but thankfully i saw flash of colour out the corner of my eye.

Its so beautiful and i have fallen in love and want one of my own now so would love someone to tell me what rose it is.

Also would it be possible to take cuttings so i dont have to buy one? If the answer is yes when is the best time to do this and whats the most reliable and effective way?

Woo's the expert so listen to him but some years ago I had a branch break on one of my roses (high winds) and my neighbour just popped it in the ground to see what would happen. It came true and when she moved she took a cutting with her and that one has grown in her new garden too.

I've managed to strike lucky with rooting roses from a bouquet but not sure whether the colour has come true as I just shove them in the ground and see what happens - nothing ventured nothing gained!

Good afternoon Dips it is very difficult to ID a Rose from a photo as you rarely get the true colours,I would add that as far as I can see Rose its looks like a Hybrid Tea /Apricot blend/Samaritan  this is only my personal opinnion;)

This Rose can be a Floribunda and a Hybrid Tea(41+Petals

Another one that springs to mind is Chicago Peace

        This link should help you;)

Thank you @wiseowl i took great care to get the colour accurate so that is how it looks no diff when you put the pic next to the plant.

Will it be true to that plant if i take a cutting?

And have you ever used a potato for rose cuttings as i keep seeing stuff about putting the cutting into a potato

Yes it will be true. Cuttings are easy- even some bits I shoved into the ground to deter cats from pooping rooted. I then took one and put it in some compost and it is slowly growing bigger. Not sure on the colour of mine as I've not seen it in bloom but nothing ventured...

image.jpg Good morning Wise Owl, my what an early riser you are. I have two sunrise roses and bought them from Fryers Roses in Knutsford as repeat ramblers to grow over a smallish pergola. Whenever I Google this rose it shows it more orange than both of mine are, the ones I have start off peachy orange and fade to the beautiful peachy pink. This is only my 2nd year with this rose but so far very long lasting blooms and quite disease resistant.
This is mine on a very dull day, in sunshine this rose glows.
