Oh, that's disappointing Rosa, but even if you had to wait another 6 months that would be early next year and plenty of time to get ready for spring planting - and all winter to plan and prepare,
Good luck and hope you get some kind of confirmation soon.

Alice just been on the internet and put my name down on local council allotments list for my area so will wait and see iff they have any plots available, quite agree with you there will be plenty of time to get an allotment ready for next year.

Thats rotten luck rosa, I hope one comes up soon for you.

We too have my name down at a local alottment but fear I will have a long wait for one. We are sixth on the waiting list and only one or two become available per year, add to that its sited on the side of a hill so all apart from three or four at the bottom of the site are unsuitable for Anne in her wheelchair.....it could be a very long wait.

    Steve...:)

steve im pretty dissapointed, my friend hes next on list and reckons he will get one soon so i will have half of his and wait and see what council say it could be a long wait, thats bad luck about yours do hope you get one soon as its pointless getting one on a hill for Anne lets hope you get one soon also
