Damson tree cuttings

    I have the chance to take some cuttings from a tree but unsure when, where and then how to plant to ensure successful rooting!

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Not sure you can grow damson from cuttings, might be better off with a root sucker.

    What is a root sucker?

    Was reading ehow and they suggest it's got high success rate for growing from cuttings
