Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY... 2014...

Good Morning All,

It is lovely to have good weather, but alas I can no longer take the heat. I cannot avoid it when having to walk Amber three times a day. I shall have all the fans going indoors today. I have four so enough to place around this small flat. I had a terrible night, no sure if it was because of all the exercise I got yesterday but I was up and down all night with chronic cramp. I got up and put the pc on at 1 o'clock this morning to research leg cramps and ordered some homeopathic quinine tablets. Hope they do not take too long to come. What is quinine extracted from?

Take it easy on that roof today Zigs, don't get burned.

Shiney..It's hot here already go easy out there

Moyra...I'm not so sure about quinine these days,it was always used for cramps but I'm sure I heard somewhere that it's not advisable to use these days,I don't know why though I bought some 'Hot weather cooling spray' and use that if I get it,plus a lot of stretching and jumping around...

Steve and Zig...go steady at work it's going to be a hot one

I'll have to keep an even closer eye on the dogs in this heat,Archi has started with a 'hot spot' on his back and it spreads like 'wild fire' (pardon the pun) once it starts..a bag of frozen peas wrapped in an old tea towel placed on his back for a few minutes and a blob of sudocrem on it does the trick Theo is doing great,he only goes outside in this weather to antagonise the chickens when they're sunbathing otherwise he keeps well out of it

Hopefully it's Mums last visit to the nurse today as her wound has healed great just wish her other problems would be so easy to cure.

Annnd a special Good Morning to the Birthday Boy:hpybtd:...Happy Birthday Woo..another year wiser...plus a belated Happy Anniversary to Mrs Woo and yourself...

I'm sat here listening to the birds singing away and also trying to record Mabel ...it's so comical,she has got a very gruff voice this morning,she keeps going like this.She starts off quietly with a few little grumbles and it's gradually getting louder,the last time she did this after several tries she stood there and stretched her neck up and gave out the biggest 'cockadoodle do' a proper one she hasn't laid for a while now so I think I have a menopausal chook on my hands... ...
