    Greetings Fellow Forum Friends. :)

I came across Gardenerscorner through google.co.uk so it's good to be amongst budding experts who are hopefully willing to take an obsolute beginner (soft hands - no green fingers in sight) under their wing..?

I've lived in Germany for the last 23 years (ex British forces) and haven't given gardening (well... ground-floor balcony to be precis) much thought until now.

The truth is, my wife has laid down the gauntlet that I resurrect our herbs garden (in pots of course) as her efforts have "left a lot to be desired" and that's putting it diplomatically. :hehe: So as one can imagine, I've accepted the challenge! :gnthb:

:flag:is out of the question as she's expecting me to fail miserably :hehe:; and
it would be lovely to be on the receiving end of some really useful , which are low-cost of course. So, there you have it lovely people... my ambition is to have a steady supply of herbs for our cooking adventures and that I may prance up and down our balcony like some over-grown child whilst giving it a bit of :yho:in front of my dearest. :p

I very much look forward to some delightful and intelligent (albeit electronic) conversation and that eventually I, like you will be proud of the achievements through one's efforts.

    Sincere regards,
