    Hi there

I'm very new to growing and have a tomatoes plant that has started to look quite ill. The leaves are curling and going brown but it is producing fruit. It has lots of small green tomatoes about the size of a marble. I keep it on a sunny windowsill and have started putting it outside in the sun to see of that helps. I water it when dry and use tomato feed. Any ideas what is wrong with it? And will the fruit be safe to eat? I've uploaded a couple of photos. Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to GC Megjames.. It looks to me like lack of and or uneven watering.. I water my toms twice a day in this heat.. I never let my toms dry out if I can help it.. They want to be moist not waterlogged.. Feed as per instructions on your Tomato feed..
This should help you get bigger toms too..

I water then remove any standing water after an hr in the morning and the same in the evening.. Also make sure they are sheltered from wind when you put them outside..

The pot looks small to me, when I grew Tomatoes in pots I used 12" diameter, and I would think the smallest you should use is 9".

I think I might agree with you there Kristen, I didn't notice the pot size, was just assuming it was a big pot.. That will also make a difference @Megjames.. If too small it would contribute to the smallness of your fruits as well..

I would put then on in to a bigger pot. And water them.and feed them ones a week with nitrogen-rich, liquid plant food

No don't use Nitrogen, it will make them go all leggy. Instead use a tomato feed that is high in potash.
