These plants were given to me by a friend who had grown them from un-named cuttings.

Can anyone identify them for me?

The second one looks like a variegated form of Fatshedera lizei which is a bigeneric hybrid between Castor Oil Plant ( Fatsia ) and Ivy (Hedera )
It's a nice foliage plant and will grow well without direct light

Plat, as Lovage has ID correctly, the second one is one of many Fatshedera cultivars.
The first, not sure, I would like a closer look.

The overall height of the plant was about 280 for most of last winter and suddenly in spring one part only has shot up to 700 and is still growing

    Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the info on Fatsia -Hedera cross I have learned something new and checked out on Google it is definitely Fatshedera

    Yours Platty
