    Please help.

I want to make a table centre for my October celebrations out of tree branches.

Will the branches drip sap? How early can I cut them? How can I pot them?

As you can probably I haven't a clue so would really appreciate any advice!!

    Thanks in advance.

Acers /maples will drip sap. I don't think others will. Are you keeping the leaves on or are you just using the wood? If you are using largish branches you would need to put them in plaster in your container I think to keep them secure.Just put the container with plaster inside a more decorative one. I 've just read your post again and realised you want them in October. You could cut them now and dry them.
I am intrigued now. What sort of centrepiece are you making?
