I only got 13 - bloomin awful for a keen quizzer ! I also think the King Harold question was incorrect , but apart from that I got some very easy ones wrong i.e I put 4 years for how long between general elections, its 5 . I have voted in enough of them !

Not very good questions, i'd ask things like who did the voices of the Wombles, what do you do when the National Anthem is played, where did the Beatles come from Etc.

 

I'd ask questions aimed to help ascertain whether the candidate would fit in or not.

Eg.

* You need to be in town by 8:30AM on a weekday. According to the timetable, there is a bus that arrives at your stop at 8:00 AM and arrives in town at 8:25AM, or an earlier bus 30 minutes before that. What time should you be at your bus stop by, and how long should you expect to wait?

* You are invited to a barbecue. The weather is fine and the forecast says it will remain so. Which of the following should you NOT do:
- Ask what meat it is and how it was killed
- Go in shorts and t-shirt because its not going to rain
- Take at least a 4 pack of tinnies
- Turn up exactly at the time you were told it was starting

* You are following somebody through a shop door, but they let the door shut in your face without even looking back. Do you A) Have a word, B) tut as loudly as you dare, but not so loud as to risk being heard, C) Thank them for giving you a new experience in humility

* You want to buy fish and chips. The smell emanating from the chippy is extremely tempting. How likely is it that the chips are cooked properly and the batter on the fish is not a soggy mush that sticks to all your chips and peels off when try to separate fish from chips?

Buses don't stick to timetables in this country so you need to be at the bus stop by 7:30 no make that 7:15 in case that one turns up early then the next one turns up late. How long you'll wait is anybody's guess but take a mobile phone and telephone number of a taxi firm in case nothing turns up.

Don't go in shorts & T shirt as British weather forecasts are completely unreliable.

About 50% (unless you're so drunk you don't notice). Only fish & chips bought from a Chinese takeaway is guaranteed to be OK).

I only got 14, but then i was never interested in history, I didn't think anyone invaded Scandinavia and defeated the Vikings?
I've never understood why they put history questions into this kind of thing.
I was born here, but I dont remember what happened in the 17th century.
