    And can you see Sam all the little violets that have self seeded into gravel, i am going to leave them as they look pretty

    Hadnt noticed them before but I can see some just on the left hand side of the pot ?

    Would leave them too probably as its not like they are going to cause any harm to anything else inthe gravel and it will help brighten it up ! :)

    Nicely planted Pam.
    I have to agree with you re the violets.
    I have loads growing and they put on a grand show early spring by growing out of nooks and crannies all over the place
