Got a phone call this afternoon to confirm delivery....

My Greenhouse will be delivered on Wednesday 17th September. Sadly after my birthday by over a week:cry3:

So I have a fortnight to clear and clean the concrete slab that it will be sitting on, as I plan to build it on Thursday/Friday unless it's arrives early enough on the Wednesday to make a start.

That's the plan, but hubby is having an eye op on the 13th, so won't be able to do any heavy lifting or bending forward! So it looks like he's going to be doing a supervisory and holding position

And now to start start planing what I'm going to be doing with the greenhouse over winter...

It's a simplicity Classic from the Greenhouse people.

It was a hard search to find a greenhouse in my price range that actually had proper glass, a bonus at the moment it comes with Toughened glass and some extra's thrown in such as an automatic opener, and a louvre window,

      Not sure,

I want heating, but alas I've got 4 family birthdays after mine and then christmas to contend with, so heating will probably have to wait until after Christmas....

I do have a couple of container plants that I need to over winter, and hopefully will finally get my allotment, should hear by the end of this month beginning of next, then I'll be looking at starting off veg seeds and then bedding for the garden.

Still not got around to repairing mine after the hurricane, made a start clearing the brambles and bindweed out last week.

Keep your eye on Gumtree & Freecycle for a heater, never know :)

I'm hoping to get a propane one, as I've got several propane bottles in the shed, 2 small for camping, and a medium (white one) and a large one for using with a bbq...

I've checked out preloved, free cycle etc in the hope of, but if nothing comes up prior to christmas then I buy new after I suspect

Preloved isn't the greatest of sites to use....

I've seen a couple but they are all up country or just a bit far to be classed as 'local' pickup.

Not quite, as that's a domestic heater, the greenhouse ones look like a metal box without any visible element or flame or contained within...

Used to have one of those for heating many years ago, prior to having central heating, pretty cheap to run though.
