    Hi

Had this plant for approx 6 weeks. It sits on my kitchen table and i've gone along with the care instructions. The leaves are now starting to fold inwards, not looking healthy at all.

Any advice on what i can do to save it?

    Thanks

Maybe it's overwatered, does the compost feel soggy?

Dont think Phoenix Canariensis makes a very good house plant.

It needs very good light, and as much sunshine as is possible.
Most people grow them as out door palms, but young ones are tender and will be killed by frost.

So somewhere cool and dry with direct light might turn it around, but I dont think much will happen now until next spring.

:) Think these palms need plenty of light & fairly cool but not freezing - no direct heat i.e.radiators, cookers nearby etc. Unless you have a very light and cool kitchen it may be better to move it to a cooler room and if it will fit somewhere else put it as close to a window as possible. Hope you can keep it till summer, makes a good patio plant! :thumb:
