          Fog early followed by low cloud for most of the morning, got sunnier as the day progressed, total blue sky by 4pm.

            misty start, then sunny, then cloudy, then sunny again by late morning and a scorcher after that. High 20's all afternoon and still quite mild now

              A lot of high, light cloud with the sun putting in an occasional appearance, 19C.

              I'd put the hosepipe and sprinkler to bed for winter, they'll be out again by the weekend. :doh:

                After a hot and humid day we had a mild night.

                At 6 a.m. it was 58.3F (14.6C) and so still and quiet that you could hear a snail creep.
