What was the seed that the plant was grown from?

Thanks Steve it was the 978

Mine is still growing and around the 230lb mark thus far, the other three are all well over 100lb too, but I think their growth has stopped now or slowed significantly.

Glad yours are coming along mate what seed is the biggest from
I oils love to grow a 2009 Wallace next year but can not find one

Mine is on the 427 Richard.

The Wallace seeds are like rocking horse droppings and tend to sell at quite a high price, I think all the top growers have snapped them up now.

        Steve...:)

The 874 plant was put in late, it's fruit has always been smaller than the others I have growing so this morning I have cut it off fetched it home.

This is 151 lb and is damaged as it has a hole near the stem.

Now I can clear the bed completely and start the prep on it as it will be next years main patch for two plants. I still have three plants growing, all with fruits bigger than this, but the plants are now looking very sorry for themselves.

        Steve...:)

I'll be donating one to our local church (next door to me) for harvest festival, they are delighted as it will make a "marvellous centrepiece" they told me late this afternoon. They will cut it up and give out round the community so will get used.

              Steve...:)

Measured the biggest today and she is now 275lb and still growing, so may make 300lb yet. Here are a few shots of her.
