Thanks Maria, but those photos were taken in a friend's garden.

There's not a lot of colour left in my garden. My garden is more colourful in Spring and Summer and this time of year we need to spend lots of time cutting back and getting things tidy.

I open my garden each May for charity and here's a link to a preview I put here on GC six years ago. The garden has changed quite a bit since then.

Lots of GC members come and meet up on Open Day. I always put an invite up on GC in the New Year. :blue thumb:

After mollycoddling these Digitalis Illuminations they didn't perform at all earlier this year, dug them up to over winter them and this is the best they've done:rolleyespink:

How old are they? They look like mine did last year. This year they were better (photo of Illumination Pink from June).....................

This spot is compromised - not a lot of sun in the summer, but the overhead conifers protect them nicely over the winter when the low sun can get to them through the leafless apple and willow trees.
Here's my first year Illumination Gold taken in July which was about as good as it got this year...................

My pride and joy at the mo.....the top one is Acacia retinoides grown from seed last year, flowering for the first time. The other is Hedychium coronaria, always the first H. to flower here, but late this year.
