    Good evening all I have noticed more bees this year but that is only because of my new themed wildlife garden and the planting of wild meadow flowers;)

    But as you know have walked through a lot of countryside and wildflower meadows,but alas its a different story there,hardly any bees at all.

          I haven't really noticed much of a change, seem to have as many buzzy friends this year as I have in the past 3 or 4. They are loving my hebe at the moment...

            If you have the right plant at the right time you will see them , with the dry weather not all flowers produce nectar

              Please pledge in your 2015 manifestos to ban the use in the UK of neuro-active insecticides (known as neonicotinoids). They are blamed around the world for a sharp decline in bee numbers and damage to countryside ecosystems.
