Geranium seed harvesting

Hello, I have a few different types of geraniums that I would like to collect the seeds from but am having trouble finding them out of all my geraniums which is 5 I've only found 2 that resemble seeds. Here is a picture of what I found on the plant I'm hoping that the two on the left are the seeds and they can be planted as they are?

 

Yes the two on the left are seed.
Whether it is viable or not is a good question, I assume we are actually talking about Pelargoniums?
These could be hybrids, so the seed might not be fertile, if it is, the resulting plants are unlikely to be the same as the parent plant.

On the otherhand if they are actually true Geraniums, you still will get some variation in growth from the parent, but you might stand a better chance of getting good seed.

 

I just google imaged Pelargoniums and I seen a few similar images of my plant so I think so, do they not have many seeds as I can't seem to find many of them I keep checking every so often and thats the first if found. I will plant them I mean its worth a shot if nothing else.

 

Its probably easier to take cuttings
No most Pelargoniums sold as bedding plants are hybrids.

Hybrid plants often dont make good seed.

 

Thanks just ordered some rooting compound and am going to try my hand with cuttings.
