A friend would like to have these pretty flowers ID'd. Thanks in advance. Perhaps also the little lilac coloured flowers in the second pic.

Well I am not sure, but think the 1st is a Rudbeckia or cone flower of some kind as they originate from North America originally & so many different kinds, although I know we all grow them now it seems.. The 2nd could be the dwarf kind of Rudbeckia, but not at all sure at present, were they very tall Kedi.? I know the little mauve one is a variegated wallflower..Erysimum linefolium as I have one the same Kedi.. I should know what the last one is as my friend had one at her last place.. She lives in CA too.. I will try & ask her..

The second is Gaillardia "Fanfare" I believe.

The last one, my first thoughts were Mandevilla, but Campsis is possible, it would be a very nice red one if it is.
A close up of the leaves or the climbing method would help.

    Wow, that was quick! :gnthb:

Thanks so much Marley, Lorry and Pete. I'll pass the names and links along to my friend.

Pete, she was there on a day trip but I agree with you all that it is a Trumpet Vine. Come to think of it, we did try to grow it here once a long time ago but failed miserably. :(

s00k That is awful, Pete. We have a problem with the passion flower growing up everywhere in our Wintergarten. I also wish we had never planted it, as pretty as it is.
