What's Your Weather Like 2014 - Part 2

Torrential rain just started here and have the lights on as it is so dark and the heating on because it is cold.Hard to imagine that last two weeks I was walking around in shorts and T.Shirts,just glad we didn't go away this week as I would have been a bit peeved.

 

2 torrential rain showers today that lasted around 30 mins each, gloomy inbetween
Top temp of 13'c/56'f , currently 9'c and clear skies

 

Torrential showers today and only 14C. Tonight we're expecting more heavy rain, coastal flooding and thunder and lightning for good measure. Oh joy! However, the end of October is looking good at the moment.

 

Had a few showers first thing but after that mostly dry with some decent sunshine.
Also a bit warmer than the last couple of days 17C.

 

Battered

 

Started off clear, then heavy rain, now it's just cloudy

Heard about the tornado in Alfreton yesterday, looks to have caused a fair bit of damage :(

Been quite windy through the night (or, was that @Val.. ) but, I was up and about early hours and despite the wind, the brightness of the full moon made it all look rather beautiful.

Sun shining here, but still blowy.

 

Fourth torrential shower in the last two hours with near gale force winds and getting stronger.

 

Very strong winds here today and have to rescue my washing twice off of the flowers as despite having ten pegs holding down each sleeping bag they still flew off the line.

It came over dark ten minutes ago and then we had about six rain spots hit the dining room window but the wind blew all the rain clouds away

Managed to get my car washed and hoovered out plus polished the plastic bits inside and also got the caravan hoovered out,now just going off down the garden to start getting the summer plants inside the greenhouse before the first frosts come

 

The torrential showers have persisted all day and the wind hasn't let up despite the forecasts.
