It seems my cobra beans are not wanting to climb up their bean poles i lovingly put up for them

Any advice? Or is it they just arnt very good climbers?

I think i will have to grow something else next year.

    Hi

I have had this problem with Cobra in past years, though not this season.

I planted them out against bamboo canes and they just took off, they are almost 4 feet tall at the moment!

Other years they have been reluctant to start climbing by themselves.
I had to tie them in against the canes before they would climb, but once they had got the idea they were supposed to climb, they usually took off.
Patience is your best bet just now.

    Cheers
