I think its a photoshop job, and not a very good one at that if I'm honest. What is it anchored to? Its clearly not anchored to the garage as the top of the web is higher than the garage, unless it is actually quite a lot forward of the garage, but then there's nothing at the left side in front of the garage for it to be anchored to.

Wow! That spider must be 4" across.
I do sometimes come across spiders webs fastened between trees over 6ft apart but the web only occupies a small part, usually one corner close to one tree or bush where there is somewhere for the spider to hide. Owing to the fineness of the thread and the size they would be very difficult to photograph.
However I did find this in the garden of a bungalow in North India.

Slightly closer to home. On our washing line a few days ago. It's web was about 6ft across.

I think it is just a photo of the spider in the foreground, and the garage very much in the background, giving the appearance of a large web. Compare the spider to the garage door handle :heehee:

It's well in front of the garage I'd say. I had a spider a few weeks ago that spun a web across the whole garden, roughly 12 feet across. It is possible!
