Undated 20p coin

    Wow - at that price just one would do me ..... be plenty to pay to have some air-con installed :hehe:

    :) Just had a look on e-bay and there appears to be some right rip off's going on so be careful.............They are trying to sell ordinary 20p's with some clever wording and people ARE bidding..........

    Something gives me the feeling that this might have been a 'deliberate' mistake - to bring 'money' into circulation.

    If you have one of these and you have lots of money you will keep it

    If you have one of these and money is less plentiful you will sell it.

    If you have plenty of money and DO NOT have one of these you may buy one as an investment.

    The person it is bought off is likely to spend the money - as if they didn't need it they wouldn't be selling.

    OK it won't solve the credit crunch but it could well bring a fair bit of cash back into circulation 20,000 at just £100 each is errrr £2 million (or 20 million at £1000 each) if my maths is right.
    And as this is the only year they won't have a date on it doesn't really matter, they are effectively dated anyway.
