      Hi Maria

They can be tender , so I would keep frost free and plant out in the spring , so easy to take cuttings , if you want some more let me know and I will tell you how

        Hi

If not frosty out leave in the garden if you think frosty over night pop in the shed then bring out if all looks good , cuttings are so easy and I have had cutting material sent to me through the post and I have great success from them using the method below .

Use a non flowering shoot about 4 inches or 10.16cm long , nip the top leaves out and remove 3/4 quarters of the leaves from the bottom:snork: of the cutting , clean cut just under a node which is where the leaves pop out from.

        Items required:
        • Healthy non flowering shoots/stem
        • sharp knife
        • Multipurpose compost (fresh)
        • 4 inch / 10.16 pot
        • Clear plastic bag
        • bit of patience :old:

Use multipurpose compost which will let the roots grow away quickly and using a pencil or your own dibber (finger) put the cuttings in until the bottom leaf touches the soil put about 4 or 5 cuttings in the same pot give a good water (dont water again for all the time they are in the bag) and put the whole pot inside a clear plastic bag and they should root in 4 or 5 weeks keep in the shade don't let the full sun get them or too hot or scorch them , once you see roots coming out of the bottom:snork: of the pot you can make one or two small pencil size holes into the plastic bag so the new plants are getting used to outside conditions once the bag comes off in another week or two , you can take these late April once the plant has started into new growth , when they look big enough you can put into separate pots and grow on for a couple of weeks then plant in the garden or just put the whole lot into a bigger pot
