Woken by a huge clap of thunder and heavy rain. Both are moving off now but I don't think that is the end of the rain for today.

Not certain because it threw the trip switch on the electric  Took me a while to find the step ladders to sort the circuit board out (strategically placed so children can't get to it ... or any "normal" sized person .... or me! ). Probably a little later than that though, to be fair - it did have to travel a little bit twix you and me :heehee:

There was just 3 episodes. I counted 1) at 9 miles 2) didn't count 3) 5 miles which was a deep roar and rumbled on for about 6 seconds( sounded like Ozzy). No more and I :snooze: back off until 7am when the downstairs clock does it first chime. ..( Not allowed to chime after 9.45pm at night)

A dry cold day today with a mixture of sunshine and clouds. The clouds started to build up more and more during the afternoon but we've still had no rain. The temperature now is 49f with a pressure reading of 1018mb. The Weather Station is predicting rain sometime in the next 8 hours or so........we shall see!!:coffee::snork:

It's coming your way Armandii! It's been nasty here for a couple of hours now, rain blowing on a gale, 13C. It looks like it's here for the rest of the week too.

Well, I've been keeping an eye on the weather all day, Sheal, as I had my telescope mount outside powered up to install the GPS function into the Controller by acquiring signals from the GPS Satellites.........which took 3 and a half hours before I got 3 satellites to give a 3 point fix.:gaah::heehee: Still, it's done now so shouldn't need to be done again unless I take my scope on holiday.:coffee:

Yesterday was sunny and I'm hoping today will continue in the same way.

ARMANDII, you can get a magnificent magnified view of the rain!
