Pruning dilemma

I have one 6 feet high and 60 feel long have a look at my photos , looks amazing in the spring and its only 1 plant

 

I love clematis I've got one on another wall that's small, but I want to train it across the wall, replacing a Russian vine as it goes

 

We've trimmed back the wisteria, on Friday. There's a frost this evening & my OH is worried now that the frost will affect the wisteria. It's the first frost since we cut it back, will it be ok as the ends would have sealed?

Phew! We were worrying, it was a really heavy frost, it looked like light snow!
