Does that mean we should all race out to buy new barbecue grills while they're cheap, ready next summer? After all, the weather is usually the opposite to what the long term forecast says.

So global warming is a complete load of rubbish?
I always thought it was, so lets get producing as much greenhouse gas as we can in order to ofset this problem.

I've been confused about so called global warming for years. I know we've been adding extra CO2 to the atmosphere, but the fact is that at 400ppm it's the lowest it's been since the coal was laid down 300 million years ago

In the Jurassic period it was 5 times higher than now.

So 'Global Warming' AKA Climate Change would bring colder weather to the UK due to Gulf Stream (also Jet Stream?) shifting, ice released into oceans, etc.

And 'Global Cooling' might mean an ice sheet over the UK.

What do The Daily Express weather forecasters have to say about this? Oh, they already have:

Apart from the bathroom [1], we still haven't turned out heating on yet [2], just using a thicker duvet, wearing fleece jumpers around the house, and burning some wood of a morning/evening.

[1] A single storey, solid walled, lean-to extension that get's very cold.
[2] Apart from when we came home after 5 days away when it had gone down to -2degC outside, so turned on low for one night.

Is that another example of willies/wellies browser auto text replacement, or a suggestion that the insulation needs to be located higher than feet level?

They'd have to go a fair way to cock their legs too, during the last glaciation no trees could grow any further north than the Spanish border
