    A very rewarding task in the garden this morning.
    Time to harvest a few peas, with the help of our Mocat

    That's a damn good harvest, Robert.

    It looks like your Mocat is using a peashooter. But that's not possible......is it?

    Yes... they are Serpette Guilloteau
    Old fashioned french variety

    Takes me back to when I was a little girl and my grandads whole garden was a vegetable plot. We would go over and help him shell the pea's .... although it was always kinda 'one for the pot, one for me' :)

    Oh yes ! Although for some reason, us kids were not asked very often to help with the strawberries !
