Celine - if this is how they looked when you received them then you should certainly contact the seller. I have found most plant sellers are fine when you tell them about any problems and they deal with things in the right way. Obviously there will be some that don't. If you don't hear anything satisfactory from them then start the complaint procedure and get your money back (presuming you paid by Paypal). By the way - they don't look like double busy lizzies to me - another thing you should query perhaps? Good luck

A lot of the leaves on the Camilla dont look to bad on the photos .... although it hard to see.

The Busy Lizzies do look rather long and straggly though to be honest and a bit on the pale side, although that might just be the photos.

You might find they perk up over a couple of days maybe, esp the Camilla.

To safeguard yourself though I would maybe email the seller to say you are not completely happy but that you will give them a couple of days and see how they fair.

Just out of interest - how long from ordering until delivery ?

Open gentle discussion with the seller re the Busy Lizzies. Unless the Camellia is vastly different from what you thought you'd bought, it looks ok to me.

These days the buyer is king on eBay, with sellers unable to leave negative feedback. Sometimes not a great thing, but if the seller is genuinely rubbish, it's a huge advantage. But don't go leaving neg unless all else you try fails. Like others say, most sellers will want to help.

So curling and bitten leaves are not a bad sign for the plant?

Posting can affect a plant, as can being removed from it's pot for a while.

You have up to 45 days before leaving feedback. See what happens with it for a week or two.

eBay is a gamble with anything - if you paid less than you would in a GC then you still got a bargain.

Its worth complaining to the seller Celine, in my experience with ebayers 99% are very genuine and will do their best to refund or exchange if you are unhappy (I would be unhappy with those plants you have pictured!). The busy lizzies look the worse, I've seen better in the bargain bin at B&Q at the end of the season.

You're not usually going to get flowers on plants that come through the post, especially from an eBay seller.

The Busy Lizzies look dreadful though. Email the seller about them, definitely, but keep it pleasant...to begin with!
