Solstice greetings all.

Hope this morning finds you all hale and hearty. Had our work Christmas 'do' last night, we all had a nice meal, then headed off to visit a few of the local hostelries for a drink or two.
Having said that, I managed one pint of 'Broadside' and that was my lot, can't stick the pace nowadays.
So, I left them all to it and was back home by 10-30, the walk home took about half an hour and I felt much better for it too.

Will probably get plenty of ribbing at work on Monday about being a 'lightweight' of course. Never mind, humbug to the lot of 'em I say. :chrissy grin:

 

You might get ribbed, but you'm not the one with the hangover :chrissy grin:

Glad you are all taking the celebrations gently..............I am late to bed tonight because I want my chest to be ok when I get up in the morning. Am feeling much better tonight but that is no indication as to how my chest will be in the morning; Everyone is advising me to still go for the ex ray tomorrow after I have had my bp test first thing. Maybe they are all right.

Well I can hardly believe it...12 degrees outside this morning that's warmer than many of the mornings we've had in the summer up here
I had lots of catching up to do yesterday after the Christmas bash finally got the tree up and the mantle piece decorated so slowly getting there
I've had quite a few invites to friends over Christmas but I've declined their kind offers as between now and the New Year I only have 3 days off and I really would like to just do nothing,I'm flagging already and it's not even here yet

Quick cuppa then off I go again

Well another day nearer and yes the days will soon draw out again, thankfully!
I hope you are all ok. I shall be off to the nurse for my bp to be done and then on to the hospital for the x ray. I am hoping that it will not show anything up as I do feel much better.
