front garden..before and after

    see - what a difference a few flowers make !!

    Word of advice though...... keep watering esp the ones in full sun cause everything is drying out like mad here the last week. Tis gonna be hotter today and tomorrow so make sure they have a good drink before bed (not in full sun). :)

    Hi Andy, I agree with Sam there, some greenery and colour makes all the difference :)
    They should bush out more and fill the space as they grow.

    thinking of planting patio roses and other shrubs and some lavender on the left and right borders and in between the conifer stumps.

    suggestions greatly appreciated :thumb:

    You would probably need to plant different shrubs on the left, to on the right as some would be good in the shade and then some require full sun.

    Lavender (i think all varieties) require full sun. Hosta's for example are great in the shade, although these are perennials.

    You might also want to consider chopping some height off the stumps so as to not overshadow anything, or even remove them completely - this might have been best done before planting the annuals though.

    Just out of interest - what are the bricks for ?... the ones being balanced on a piece of wood ?

    you try removing conifer stumps that are the remains of conifers that were planted over 20 years ago,you come do it for me:yho:

    bricks...stops the no parking sign from moving...i live near a school and you know what a pain in the **** some parents can be when they park on private property and block off peoples gateways:mad:

    What are the main crops on your garden?Goodluck in making it more good with the added crops.I'm thinking of new crops to plant on my garden.Any suggestion?
