It's snow joke!

Snow has fallen recently in Saudi Arabia. Saudi's have been making snow camels.

A Fatwa has been issued against them, because they are considered 'Western Values'

OMG, where will it end next? I like his camel very much.

 

My understanding is its nothing to do with western values, but because a strict interpretation of Islamic law says that you can't make a likeness of a human.

But I agree. It is a very silly situation isn't it. But we must remember that it is silly to us because we don't live there. Some of our general practices might seem silly to the people of Saudi. As long as nobody is fighting, its best not to try to judge one culture by another's standards.
