    I'm giving up alcohol for Cancer Research.

    I'm doing this because my Mothering law died of cancer and a friend of mine died of cancer this year, also a friend in the office I work in has found out his wife has terminal cancer she's only 40.
    Not sure i can put this up but a Mod will help i'm sure.

      Great cause Ian and good luck with your efforts. I'll add a little something come payday.

      Don't think I'll be giving up anything myself though. I've never stuck to a NY resolution in my life so gave up on them ages ago

        So very sorry, my Son lost his Mother in law to cancer last April, we were devastated she was such a wonderful kind soul.

        Its going ok, not problem was went out for my daughtors birthday last night. having a meal without a glass of wine didn't feel right.
