    Hi folks, thanks for the info. Big Boy is more of an exhibition type tom IMO. I'm not looking for whoppers, so I reckon 4 to a truss should be about right. Anyway, it's a starting point and all part of the learning process. I'll report back on how it goes :thumb:

    This is one of my Monarda Tomatoes [​IMG] I have not grown these before its all very interesting , as I have Roma Plum tomatoes ,Moneymaker,Gardeners Delight and the Monarda ,

    They all seem to have there own way of growing

    That Monarda is a strange looking one Pam, I've not seen one quite like that before :thumb:

    I think that particular one is a mutant, but they all have the ridged look :lollol:

    They seem to be only about 4 in each truss mostly, so they are self sizing :dh:

    im gonna try beef tomatoes myself next year - love them, especially with a little salt on them - absolutely gorgeous.
