Windows to mac

Never looked back since the day I gave up on windows and took the big decision to go to Apples mac book pro 17"
Really pleased with it.
OK I had an issue with the last update from Maverick to Yosemite so I logged a call from Apple and the nice guys there phoned back and got it sorted for me. Fantastic service, and for free.
I still have a an XP and a Vista machine I can fall back on if theres something historical I need.
Any body else made this change?

I've been thinking about it, but I don't like the way one has to buy Apple products to support it. To me, Windows is more flexible. The only reason I've been considering a Mac, is that I'm a bit fed up with 'regular' PC's getting slower and slower, and of course security.

 

Agree with some of what you say. Software has to be mac compatible. To me it,s the security or lack of it that you dont have to worry about. No Nortons, AVGs and the like to worry about. I use Elements 10 for my photo processing. My printer is a wifi Canon and I have a selection of external backup HHDs I use Safari and Chrome and Open office for my word processing needs.
