You wouldn't believe it.

A contestant on 'Who wants to be a MIllionaire' won £10.000.
The cheque bounced and she got a £38 fine from her bank. :dh:

B. The bank staff will temporarily treat you like a god
C. Friends and relatives that you haven't spoken to in a while will suddenly phone you out of the blue

After we sold a house we put the £36,000.00 profit in one account and not once did the bank even try to speak to us, let alone treat us like god. Seems that kind of money is only small fry to them.

At one stage we even split them money up and put £15,000.00 into another account in a bid for them to upgrade the account ..... they still didnt ! Pah banks!!

Anyway ... back to thread- - obviously ITV are in a lot more trouble than they are letting on if they cannot clear a cheque which they had already post dated.
