      Good evening folks...Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far..Decided to give my oldest a surprise visit today in Edinburgh..Its been a gorgeous day here all day but starting to get a bit nippy now though..We took the girls to see Edinburgh castle today and they loved every minute of it..They thought they might a princess while they visited the castle:heehee:...Gonna chill out tonite after a busy day here in Edinburgh..Enjoy the rest of your evening folks:)

          I know it's early days but when I came home from work yesterday the sun came out for a while and all the chooks got laid out on the patio sunbathing ,it really felt like Spring was in the air:wub2:...:dancy:... more of the same today I hope:blue thumb:

            Aloha everyone,

            It's not quite so cold out today. :)

            The quiz went well and my team were in the prizes as we came second - we won £5 per head :blue thumb:

            Today is going to be busy for me. I'm captaining the county team in our last match of the season. We're playing Suffolk (at home - so I've only got a 30 mile drive to our home venue :smile:) and it will be a tough match.

            Twenty points are awarded per match and we need to win 20-0 to be pretty certain of winning the league. Our nearest rivals (Northants) are on exactly the same score as us and they, also, have one match to play. Cambs and Hunts have three matches to go and are only 48 points behind us so can, technically, beat us - but not very likely.

            None of the other counties can beat us. So, no pressure! :phew: :heehee:

                I was quite poorly yesterday but feel much better today, amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. Must get Amber out for her walk. Well done on the tournament Shiney hope you come out tops of the league.

                  Cold and windy here today, but the sun is doing it's best to get through the clouds, and at least it's dry.

                  Pleased the quiz night was a success Shiney and good luck with the bridge match. Great news re your medical problems too. You'll be fighting fit and raring to start gardening in earnest when Spring finally arrives.

                  Glad you're feeling a bit better Moyra. Everything crossed you continue to improve.

                  Sounds like a lovely day out in Edinburgh AB. I used to love going to visit the castle, especially seeing the crown jewels.
