I'll drive. Where shall I pick you up from?

If it turns out to be a damp squib you pay all the fuel and expenses :yahoo:

If it's genuine I'll give you a grand

The ebay auction looks genuine to me too, the seller has 100% feedback. Maybe the seller doesn't know the real worth, it does happen.

fake etesia lawn mowers? .... maybe a chinese 'clone' made by chinese children in child labour camps?then labeled as Etesia and painted etesia green and mary poppins white? ....

and the chinese fake etesia factory is next to the Prada fake wallet 'child camp'?

Hmmmm .... maybe I'm getting old

    but suppose anything is possible

Having a closer look at ebay, that same seller seems to have sold the same mower a few days ago, there is something a bit fishy?

Nah ... he listed it 1st time round in auction format .... he only achieved £65 ....

he has 100% positive feedback (198 transactions)

he sells a few mowers, and perhaps buys them for cheap from auctions? (I've seen good Hayter mowers fetch £30 at auction)

so by looks of things, he wants £120 minimum .... happens often on ebay

but seriously, if I were near his home, I'd buy it .... when you go collect, and it is 'not as described', you don't pay

      worth the chance

Surely the best thing to here is to get in touch with the seller and get it straight from the horses mouth , so to say .. Micky

I would never buy a used mower off ebay without asking a few questions first

one could take this case a step further ....

you can check his selling history on Goofbay - eBay Tools, eBay Misspellings, eBay Typos, eBay Sniper, eBay Bargains

sometimes sellers get their mates to try and push the prices higher, and in many cases it fails, so they then end up having to relist

I still maintain that it is a bargain, even if it needs refurbishment .... a full service will cost approx £120 .... not bad for an etesia with a 5.5hp Honda motor .... add the cost of a grassbox (used if possible), and you have one of the best commercial mowers on the market

the latest top of the range model with a 6hp Honda engine costs just over £2600

Do I gather from all this that Etesia Lawnmowers are good then?
