Thanks for that Gogs. :gnthb: I've got poorly knees and a friend who also has poorly knees recommended I get one as she gets benefits from a 'tens machine'. I'll save some money and I'll post a report on this thread in due course.

Red, I use a TENS machine, though they wont cure the problem, they do lessen the pain.:thumb:

They're terrific! I've used one myself for years on all sorts of pains - shoulders, upper and lower back, knees. I even used on on my knee after an arthroscopy which enabled me to get back to work in my nursing job! Good job that, working in the operating theatre, I had to wear trousers so it was hidden! And I've recommended it to no end of patients in my current role as occupational health nurse!

However, this one is a bit toy town - you can only use one pair of electrodes at a time which wouldn't do for me, I like to use two pairs. And there is only three modes of pulsing.

Plus you only have 1½ hrs to go!

I appreciate what you say about this one being a bit 'toy town' Daisies but at that price I don't mind....at least it'll let me know if it works for me, I hope, then I can get a better one later if it helps me.

Amazingly it arrived today, only a day after I ordered it and as I write I am trying it out on my knee. The instructions are absolutely minimal though....how long should a session be Daisies?

As a one-time sufferer of Trapped Nerves in my back and particularly the waist area, I found a TENS+ Extremely helpful. On one occassion when I trapped a nerve in my shoulder, I went to turn it off and accidentally turned it UP, giving me one almighty Jolt and even for a 9v battery, but it sure cured the thing and now I only ever get them in the waist. Touch wood and I am right now, I have not had one in my shoulder since and that happened some years ago now.
